Tiffany Lane Update:November 21, 2017
I am writing to update you on our progress repairing Tiffany Lane’s fire damaged home. Thanks to volunteer support from the Chichester United Wesleyan Church and the Boothwyn Fire Department, we have been making good progress, but still have much more to accomplish to get Tiffany and her kids back in their home.
I’m please to report that major roof repairs have been completed. In addition, 15 replacement windows have been purchased and should be installed by December 1st. Also, all necessary demolition in the damaged portions of the house have been completed. However, additional electrical and plumbing work is needed before new ceilings can be installed.
More before and after photos of our home repair progress can be reviewed here.
To date, we have raised over $11,000 in financial support from over three dozen donors, but more is needed to achieve our goal of getting Tiffany and her children back in their home for the holidays. Unfortunately, Tiffany will be working on Thanksgiving while her kids are looked after by a relative.
We are continuing to gather donations and support here and will provide another update on our progress in early December.
